CFAR Code of Ethics and Values Statement

Purpose:

To affirm the ethical principles and shared values that guide CFAR’s work, decision-making, and relationships with partners, donors, staff, and the public.

Core Values:

  2. Accountability: We are responsible stewards of the resources entrusted to us.
  3. Respect: We treat all people, partners, and communities with dignity.

Ethical Commitments:

  • CFAR conducts its programs and fundraising with honesty, fairness, and transparency.
  • No person associated with CFAR shall use their position for personal gain or engage in activities that could compromise CFAR’s integrity or reputation.
  • CFAR will avoid relationships or funding that conflict with its mission or values, as outlined in the Policy on Accepting Donations.
  • CFAR’s Board and staff are expected to comply with the Conflict of Interest Policy and report any potential ethical concerns.
