Our Impact, So Far

Rethinking Agriculture, Rebuilding Ecosystems.

CFAR educates farmers and agricultural leaders on the environmental, economic, and social benefits of building resilient animal, plant, and human ecosystems, demonstrating what's possible through workshops, hands-on internships, and lessons drawn from a sixth-generation working farm.

And this is only the beginning: CFAR is building a permanent training and lodging center to welcome workshop participants on-site for years to come.

What's Next

A Permanent Home for This Work

CFAR is raising $1.85 million to build a permanent Training Facility at White Oak Pastures, giving our workshops, internships, and community programs a home of their own for the first time. Phase 1 is fully designed, sited, and ready to build.

Phase 1: The Training Facility

Phase 2: On-Site Lodging

Once built, the Training Facility and Lodge together will form a combined campus of nearly 19,000 SF. Phase 2 planning is underway and is separate from the Phase 1 fundraising goal shown above.

How These Numbers Are Produced

Program totals (participants, interns, workshops, training days, instruction hours, acres regenerated, partner organizations, and scholarships) are tracked directly by CFAR staff across all workshops held from August 2021 through August 2026.

Community and cfar-reach figures come from two sources: CFAR's online store order and customer records, and CFAR's post-workshop participant surveys, collected through QuestionPro. Locations are shown at a city or ZIP-code level only, never at an exact address, and no individual names, responses, or comments appear anywhere on this page.
