CFAR Financial Transparency Statement

Purpose:

To demonstrate CFAR’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and public trust by making key financial and governance documents readily available to the public.

Policy Statement:

CFAR operates with full financial transparency. The organization is committed to responsible stewardship of donor funds and ensures that all resources are used to advance its charitable and educational mission.

Public Access to Financial Information:

CFAR will make the following documents available to the public, either on its website or upon request:

  • IRS Form 990 for the most recent three fiscal years

  • Annual financial statements or audits (as available)

  • CFAR’s IRS determination letter confirming 501(c)(3) status

  • Current list of the Board of Directors, officers, and staff

Internal Accountability:

  • CFAR’s financial activities are reviewed regularly by the Board of Directors and Executive Director

  • The organization follows a board-approved annual budget and tracks program vs. administrative expenses in accordance with IRS and nonprofit accounting standards.

  • CFAR adheres to its Document Retention and Destruction Policy for maintaining financial records.

Review and Approval:

This statement will be reviewed annually by the Board of Directors and Executive Director.
